[edit]My fathers father Ramon Bedoy Torres laid the corner stone for the church in El Salto de Juanacatlan Jalisco. During the presidential election for Lazaro Cardenas my father helped my Grandfather organize the campaign and cook the best "Birria" in town. El Salto was famous throughout Mexico because it had the second biggest waterfall in North America. The French built a factory run by hydro power from the waterfall. Many tourists visted the site for decades but was known for its dangerous edges where people often fell while taking pictures. I have a post card witch shows the waterfall... if interested please let me know. During world war ll the plant fabricated most of the khakki? material used for american uniforms
