Fair use rationale for Image:Ekova.jpg

[edit]

Image:Ekova.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 05:46, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion

[edit]

I tried to create this page before and it was speedy deleted because at the time, the article I created stated that Ekova had disbanded. Are they back together? Also, this page needs many more sources - a myspace page and a blank record company page are not sufficient. WLU 15:12, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sources

[edit]

In case this page doesn't get deleted again, here's a source:

[1]

However, as is, there are insufficient sources to prevent the page from being deleted. I may prod it in the near future. WLU 15:40, 8 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Present?

[edit]

I thought the band was kaput, have they re-united? WLU (talk) 19:00, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Nope, they broke up, and as far as I know, haven't reunited. I've corrected the ending date to 2008, gleaned from [2]. They say it lasted 10 years, but 2008 may not be the exact year. In fact, I'm reasonably sure it was earlier than 2008, judging by the comments from 2007 on this talk page. Need sources... -kotra (talk) 23:02, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Membership

[edit]

The text says they're a trio, but four members are listed in the Infobox. The sleeve notes published by Six Degrees with the Soft Breezes and Tsunami Breaks album list Dierdre Dubois, Mehdi Haddab, and Arach Khalathari as members; there's no mention of Cyrille Dufay anywhere. [[3]] lists him as a group member for the Heaven's Dust album, and as a guest musician for Space Lullabies And Other Fantasmagore. [[4]] explains that he was brought in to modernize the sound on the first album, which I think makes him a guest musician/producer. Pictures of the group found via Goggle Images show only the first 3 people. Are there any other more official sources to validate who the members of the group are?
