Bad
[edit]This article is very poor. The best bet would be to translate from the Japanese one. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.48.177.22 (talk) 06:32, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
The article is purportedly about the manga, but the plot summary is for the first live-action movie, which differs somewhat from the manga version. For example, Misa Kuroi is a much less sympathetic figure in the manga. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.225.125.186 (talk) 18:00, 14 August 2012 (UTC)
Help
[edit]Somebody help me and give this more details.
excised
[edit]I've excised the following because it might be a copyvio. It might be justified as being promotional material however...
From DVD back cover:
There is a new girl in school. She is beautiful, charming, and to some scary. Her name is Misa a mysterious loner who seems to bring pain and death to those around her. When the school explodes with superbatural activity, many of her colleagues are quick to point the finger. Is this powerful young witch the one who is wreacking havoc, or will she protect her mistrusting schoolmates in the face of unknown danger?

Requesting a source for a statement...
[edit]"The spell words themselves, along with the references to "pagan" gods (namely Cernunos and Aradia) are what gives Eko Eko its magic, just in case that wasn’t clear from the spell-like title. English stoner-doom metal band Electric Wizard (now called “The Electric Wizard”) liked them so much, they wrote a song using the title chant from the movie."
There is no source for this statement, and the chant "Eko Eko Azarak" is actually Wiccan in origin according to Eko_Eko_Azarak, so I don't know if it's correct to say that Electric Wizard wrote a song using the title chant of this movie. The Eko_Eko_Azarak article does mention the song as well, and in the same paragraph as it mentions the manga and movie, but is not clear on any connection between the movie and the song.
Therefore, does anyone have a source to verify and hopefully clarify this statement? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.108.243.175 (talk) 03:29, 4 November 2008 (UTC)
