[edit]Erie or Eire? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.72.97.127 (talk • contribs) 09:47, March 11, 2007
It's spelled "Eire" but pronounced "Erie".141.154.231.111 (talk) 20:09, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
I do not care how it is pronounced. The name in the headline is wrong. Please correct it.
And as it is an Irish pub, I doubt the claim that it is pronounced Erie. Unless, of course, the counrty is pronouced Erie-land? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.208.114.13 (talk) 12:34, 6 February 2012 (UTC)
It really is pronounced "eerie" locally, although it's spelled Eire. AmandaRR123 (talk) 18:51, 8 May 2014 (UTC)
