It is not surprising that this article is in a simple state and has had little experienced or parliamentary sources added to it. That is not to negate the balanced content which it has.
In short I have removed the usually reputation-damaging heading "controversy" when someone is a backbencher, in that Dr Whiteford has only it seems from the sources raised a complaint, for which the perpetrator of a minor misdemeanour apologised for. It is for the reader to weigh up the quotations and evidence and to decide whether the complaint was handled correctly from all political parties, the answer to which casts aspersions on them all, however it is not for the reader to think that such a complaint followed by an apology is routine or indeed a slur on the complainant's reputation. - Adam37Talk15:00, 16 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
