Still used?

Is the eight-legged essay a form that is still used in China? If not, why did it eventually disappear? 71.198.65.9 (talk) 19:58, 9 August 2008 (UTC)

Flags on the main page

It's interesting, to me, that many articles get flagged as needing revision, but nothing seems to happen for a lot of them. This article was flagged in January 2015, which was 20 months ago as of today. (I suppose that's one of the drawbacks of Wikipedia being so popular, and having lots and lots of articles.) The warnings that some articles have, like "this article may be deleted if it's not brought up to snuff" seem like an empty threat. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.130.204.49 (talk) 15:45, 19 August 2016 (UTC)

Editorial comment (template transclusion) moved from main article space to talk space. Where it belongs?

Move above editorial content regarding article to Talk. Obviously stale (from January 2015). Could be deleted or archived, I suppose. Dcattell (talk) 23:45, 15 November 2018 (UTC)
