Spelling
[edit]I don't know Arabic or transliterations thereof. Is there a reason the photo caption spells the day "Ghadeer", unlike the rest of the article? IAmNitpicking (talk) 12:30, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
Potentially biased editing
[edit]Yesterday I made a couple of changes to the beginning of the article that only changed the wording without changing the intended message. I'm concerned that subsequent edits were deliberately biased towards Sunni or Shi'a viewpoints about the holiday, and I'm wondering how we can resolve this. In particular, the beginning of the article no longer states that this holiday is specifically practised in Shi'a. Stelercus (talk) 13:41, 29 July 2021 (UTC)
No sunni?
[edit]Why this page had no mention of the word "sunni"? 182.253.54.110 (talk) 02:26, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
"INCORRECT" CLAIM.
[edit]Quoran: Yusuf Alli transliteration & translation, printed by, "The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques, King Fahd Complex...The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 1413 H.": Surat 33, v 40 reads, "Muhammad is...The Messenger of Allah. And the Seal of the Prophets: And Allah has full knowledge Of all things." If the Quoran states unequivocally that, "...Muhammad is... the Seal of the Prophets: And Allah has full knowledge Of all things." ALLAH(SWT) says that the line of Prophets & Messengers closed with THE FINAL PROPHET & MESSENGER(PBUH soul). The message & teaching revealed via "PROPHET MUHAMMAD ( PBUH soul), will always continue, BUT there has been no, and will be no Prophet after "PROPHET MUHAMMAD(PBUH soul)". Later ages will have " thinkers & reformers, not Prophets. Thus 105.1.22.244 (talk) 20:09, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
Continuing from above (talk)...
[edit]...Thus it is incorrect to claim that " PROPHET MUHAMMAD(PBUHsoul)" had, let alone intended, but had not even enterained, the thought of appointing " HADRATH ALLI(RA) as a successor to Prophet-hood, therefor "...And Allah has full knowledge Of all things."(from Quoran, Surat 33, v 40). If ALLAH(SWT) has decreed that there can be no Prophet after PROPHET MUHAMMAD(PBUHsoul), then it tantamounts to a challenge of the "WISDOM OF ALLAH(SWT)"; when it is wrongfully claimed that PROPHET MUHAMMAD(PBUH soul), had either 'thought or intention' of acting of his own accord. There was no 'thought or intention' on his part, to appoint any companion as successor to 'final prophet-hood', since the "CREATOR(SWT)" decreed in the quoran, " ...And the Seal of the Prophets:...". 105.1.22.244 (talk) 20:42, 25 June 2024 (UTC)
