Fair use rationale for Image:EVAgirls.jpg
[edit]Image:EVAgirls.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Biography improved
[edit]The article has been given a more in depth biographical story in response to the following tagging (The introduction to this article provides insufficient context for those unfamiliar with the subject. Please help improve the article with a good introductory style.) Additionally, the trivia section has been deleted and integrated throughout the biography and album history. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Justinlong2008 (talk • contribs) 05:53, 10 July 2008 (UTC)
- Good work in improving the article, but it's not up to B-Class standards yet. The most obvious and immediate problem is the lack of inline citations, necessary for any quotes and statements such as:
- "A lot of fans consider this to be one of his best if not the best of all his albums so far."
- Statements such as:
- "Incarnation received spectacular reviews, a great accomplishment for a debut album."
- would be better replaced with actual quotes from reviews, and criticism of his work should be balanced, not only positive. Also, while the article covers his career quite well, it perhaps doesn't give the same depth of coverage to his early and personal life. I've done a bit of cleanup work on the article (I like what you did with the section headings, but I don't think it's really appropriate for an encyclopedia), but taking these points into consideration I shall give the artice a C-Class rating. If you want further feedback on the article, you might consider requesting a peer review. Regards. PC78 (talk) 14:39, 12 July 2008 (UTC)
Thanks to both of you for the feedback and rating. I'm a really big fan so I'm trying to make this article perfect. I eventually want to get to where I can edit all kinds of articles of my favorite groups. I will fulfill the missing things and edits the best I can. I guess it's time for more research. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Justinlong2008 (talk • contribs) 09:01, 12 July 2008 (UTC)

How can he be a direct descendant of Edgar Allan Poe ...
[edit]if Poe never had any children? Am I wrong in my understanding of Poe's biography? Goth Fatty X (talk) 10:07, 18 March 2010 (UTC)
Correction. Removed relation to Edgar Alan Poe. Relation is through his adopted family which isn't relevant enough to be included in biography. Verified from myspace page. 97.79.160.114 (talk) 13:00, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
Lack of references, npov problems
[edit]I've tagged this for inline references and promotional content; the article has apparently been in the works for several years, and there are still no inline sources and an abundance of unsourced claims, trivia and original research. Looks like it's written by someone close to the subject.... JNW (talk) 03:59, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- I've also added a notability tag--usually this is addressed in the opening, but there doesn't appear to be any support there for the artist's significance, nor much elsewhere. JNW (talk) 04:07, 26 September 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. I don't see a single citation in this article. I took a quick look at his Discogs page (normally a great reference), and I don't even see most of his remixes there. Notability on this one appears to be quite low, and the article is written like PR. I'd say most of it could be excised to verifiable facts, which might give it stub status.
