I do not believe that the individual in this article (Egor Lavrov) meets the Wikipedia standards for notability (WP:N). In addition, the individual who created the page and has maintained the non-neutral point of view [Registrator1] does not address the verifiability of the article (WP:Verifiability). Therefore, unless the article cites third-party sources that maintain an NPOV, I would recommend this article for deletion. Special4k4 (talk) 13:05, 21 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Registrator1 is responsible for unauthorized removal of NPOV template from the article ([1]) as well as other warning templates. So he should not be treated as a goodwill contributor. --ssr (talk) 09:10, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Also, the information that Egor Lavrov is the son of current Foreign Minister of Russia Sergei Lavrov seems to be completely untrue as he has only a daughter according to his biographies. Egor Lavrov is known for numerous taste-challenging pranks (one was about claiming to be minister's son; it should be made clear in the article if it was this way), and this article may be a part of one of his prank campaigns considering aggressive behavior of its author, and may contain more untrue information. Most probably it has to be deleted. --ssr (talk) 16:42, 23 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Every fact in the article is confirmed in the References section. Article was published over 2 yeas ago and attempts to delete it and/or to vandalize it began a couple of weeks ago, when Egor Lavrov launched a popular internet project called "tattoolizator" http://www.tattoolizator.com/ This project attracted a lot of interest after it was published on engadget http://www.engadget.com/2008/07/20/engadget-logo-makes-top-10-in-crazed-mans-tattoo-contest/ Registrator1 (talk) 23:31, 22 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As posted in my user talk, making the necessary edits for the page (Egor Lavrov) helps to ensure that it meets the Wikipedia standards for inclusion. If facts are confirmed in references, they need to be cited in the article. Also, just because the article has been on the site for 2 years does not provide any indication of quality. Please do not construe these edits as personal (i.e., "Then Wikipedia page about me, which has been there for a few years, has being attacked [sic]...the vandalism and the whole crusade against me is taking place. As the time passes, more and more it looks like a planned and well-thought attack.", http://www.egorlavrov.com/2008/07/islamizator.html). The edits and discussions are made in an attempt to improve the overall quality of Wikipedia, so please feel free to weigh in the merits for inclusion. - special4k4 (talk) 15:57, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I've cleaned it up a bit and removed some links. At least one was dead, and I removed the link to his livejournal page, left the other blog as it seems to be his offical one. The trouble is, it's hard to see exactly how reliable some of these sources are, particularly the ones not in English. I also removed a link to an interview because as far as I can tell it really added nothing to the article and didn't back any of the facts up.--BelovedFreak 18:55, 28 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
