Name

People in Iceland in general never refer to themselves by their "family" name. I find it rather weird to see Eggert referred to as "Magnússon" without a given name (see the article on Patronyms). No doubt my countryman feels the same. What is the policy on referring to a person in an article on that same person? Eggertm (talk) 16:20, 22 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
