Mexican player agrees to join Celtic

[edit]

Is there some objection to the detail in this reliable citaton? Off2riorob (talk) 08:28, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/c/celtic/8820467.stm

"Celtic have completed the signing of Mexico right-back Efrain Juarez from UNAM Pumas for an undisclosed fee subject to a medical and work permit".

This citation has also been presented, I fail to see what User:Pointer1 isn't accepting here.

http://www.heraldscotland.com/sport/spl/celtic/efrain-juarez-will-offer-celtic-versatility-as-mexicans-make-waves-1.1041498 "In Efrain Juarez, Celtic have signed one of the shining lights of Mexico’s ‘Golden Generation’, according to football experts in that country." July 15. Off2riorob (talk) 08:40, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reverting back to this position which has a BBC citation included in the edit that clearly is reliable and supports the content. Off2riorob (talk) 08:43, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The citation is in the article so what have I not accepted? The transfer is subject to him passing a medical and receiving a work permit so he is still a Pumas player. Pointer1 (talk) 08:58, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

He has signed for Celtic, we need to add that, this edit I have linked to clearly says he has to have a medical and get a permit, those are basically irrelevancies, he is in no way a Pumas player anymore. Off2riorob (talk) 09:05, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me, I see it is still in the article, there has been so much reverting of this article I got blinded. sorry. Off2riorob (talk) 09:13, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

[1]. Juarez officially became a Celtic player. -- DAVID1985 (talk) 13:07, 18 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

So, uh, why is he not listed as a Celtic player?

[edit]

As the title says, he's a Celtic player, he's with the team, why is he not listed as a Celtic player, and who is responsible?

What title states what? Have you read the article? Mexican star Juarez joins Bhoys in Seattle Celtic announced that he "he will undergo a medical in Seattle, while the club are in the process of finalising all documentation." No statements have been issued since. The transfer is not complete. Pointer1 (talk) 22:17, 22 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

There have been lots of people trying to add this information in recently, who is blocking, or reverting, it, and why? —Preceding unsigned comment added by HappyDudeThe MadTim (talkcontribs) 23:33, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Additionally, who requested that this article be 'semi-protected', and who authorised such a measure? —Preceding unsigned comment added by HappyDudeThe MadTim (talkcontribs) 23:36, 21 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
