Effingham High

If you’re not from Effingham I’d like to add there was (and still is) controversy over whether or not to keep the name of the mascot. I wanna say around 2015 they even had a petition with over 1k signatures but apparently that wasn’t enough. A viral video surfaced that had white students mocking black students over the death of George Floyd. I think there were some text messages as well.
