Definition change
[edit]I believe ED50 is better defined as median effective dose rather than minimal effective dose. ie It is the dose that prodcues 50% effect in 50% of the population (median referring to the 50% population base). Just as ED95 is the median (50% population) dose required for 95% effect. user:124169.67.106
- I'll see what I can do. The number in the ED refers to fraction of the population that gets the effect. It's not a quantitiation of the effect itself, except as what fraction of people show it. SBHarris 21:47, 25 November 2011 (UTC)
