Effect Algebras, Riesz Decomposition Property and phi-symmentry property among others

[edit]

The study of all these were in Kuppusamy Ravindran's PhD thesis: On a Structure Theory of Effect Algebras. PhD thesis, Kansas State University, 1996.

The article seems to ignore his contributions to the field and credit some other author(s). Many of them would have cited him in their works. Indeed, Professor David Foulis coined the term "Ravindran Group" in some of his earlier works in this area e.g. "Logic and Partially Ordered Groups" https://arxiv.org/abs/math/0504553. There were some objections amongst his peers in this niche field, eventually they renamed to something else.] 109.79.52.49 (talk) 10:42, 2 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
