dictionary lookup for both effect and affect would be beneficial for this page, I would add it if I new how.

Effectivity would also be a very helpful definition. This term is commonly used when talking about manufacturing and the timing of cutting in changes.

Uses

[edit]

Effect (noun): Pollution has a bad effect on the environment.

Effect (verb): I'm helping my company effect the change from Solaris to XP as their server.

Affect (verb): The whistle affected the birds' mating season.

Affect (noun): Jon's affect to the colour change was shocking.

... I think that is correct - am I wrong? 24.129.239.143 (talk) 05:35, 25 December 2007 (UTC) 4000 —Preceding unsigned comment added by 125.60.241.240 (talk) 09:19, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Phenomenon

[edit]

"Effect" means phenomenon too. The List of effects lists, as it says, "observable phenomena". Is there a reason this is not included? --Hob Gadling (talk) 22:13, 11 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
