Fair use rationale for Image:Dutchjupilerleague.jpg
[edit]Image:Dutchjupilerleague.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.
If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Fully professional league
[edit]Is the 2nd division in the Netherlands fully professional? I was going to create the page for Jordy Brouwer, currently on loan from Liverpool to RKC Waalwijk as he has now played in three matches while on loan, but I am unsure if it is a fully professional league. - The 2nd division is not fully professional, but is linked with the Eredivisie. But RKC Waalwijk was in the Eredivisie, but RKC Waalwijk is relegated.--Thangthang56 (talk) 14:23, 2 August 2010 (UTC)
- This is not true. The Eerste Divisie (second tier of dutch football) is in fact fully professional. A team is obliged to have at least 16 fully professional players, otherwise a team is not allowed to start the season. Although sometimes players play for a team on amateur basis, usually to try them out, a club always have to have 16 professional players. The third tier of dutch football, the Topklasse is semi-professional. The 16 fully professional players demand was for example one of the reasons for the IJsselmeervogels to stay in the Topklasse even though they had the right to promote to the Eerste Divisie. Further on, because the dutch football association considers the league as fully professional, they also have demands for the quality of the stadiums, and the business plan that should be okay, demands that are not their for the third tier which is the first semi-professional tier. For example RKC Waalwijk had always been a fully professional team, even when it played in the Eerste Divisie. User:Thangthang56 probably supports a Eredivisie club, and those kind of people often underestimate the Eerste Divisie, and following from that falsely assume that it would be semi professional. It's not semi-professional, but it is fully professional. @User:Thangthang56 Don't state something if you don't know the facts, it generates confusion. thug_n_g 16:55, Thursday 15 September 2011 (CEST)
I know this has nothing to do with the above but is it possible to be both promoted and relegated? Best in one period and win playoff but finish 18th. Would you be barred from playoffs or not relegated or just stay there with the spots going to other teams. OJDriscoll (talk) 18:15, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- Do you mean simultaneously or in rapid succession as to cause one to spin? The basis for relegation sort of cross canceals out the moves involved. I guess that it might be possible to have your team promoted but then an individual being relegated? I am not that much invested in the rules or possibilities of football playing it in school between the end of the fall sports and the beginning of the spring sport.2603:8000:D300:D0F:CD09:69D4:A998:CC11 (talk) 10:08, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
Please clarify promotion knockout qualification
[edit]Text as it stands is unclear how many teams from this league qualify : 6 or 8 ? If 8 from this league and 2 from eredivisie, how does a knockout format reduce this to 2 ? It needs to state how the knockout rounds work. Rcbutcher (talk) 21:43, 18 August 2015 (UTC)
