Definition
[edit]This is a very peculiar definition. The Eemian Sea ("Eemzee" in Dutch language) is the area in the Netherlands where the stratotypes of the Eemian at Amersfoort and Amsterdam are located. This terminology existed already soon after the introduction of the Eemian as an interglacial stage. Of course, this terminology can't be claimed by anyone. Therefore, you should include other areas, as the North Sea as well.--Tom Meijer (talk) 09:46, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
