EDITS
[edit]I worked the text to improve grammar, spelling and readability. I also cleaned up the reference links. --BwB (talk) 15:41, 28 July 2009 (UTC)
I've cleaned things up here and added a section.--Bigindianfen (talk) 15:19, 14 December 2009 (UTC)
Ref. Improve & Neutrality tags
[edit]I am happy for the information I have tagged to stay as long as it is sourced and balanced. The article as it currently stands appears to be rather biased in favour of the campaign against Stanley, and the satire section is entirely unreferenced and potentially against the BLP guidelines. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Aldibibable (talk • contribs) 19:22, 26 February 2010 (UTC)
Repeated block deletions by user Parrot of Doom
[edit]Wikipedia contributor User:Parrot_of_Doom appears to be making multiple block deletes to this page, without good explanation. Information deleted appears relevant, and user User:Parrot_of_Doom's reversions, among other things are factually incorrect. The town of Newmarket referred to in the piece, a web search finds, is not in Surrey but Suffolk. Also, Edward Stanley is not most well known in the UK for horse racing, but for his development plans, based on a search of newspaper articles from the previous five years. User User:Parrot_of_Doom is requested to be more careful in making large block deletes, especially without good justification.
PR Companies
[edit]Please note that a further web search indicates that PR companies have apparently been making block deletes from this page. Is User:Parrot_of_Doom doing this on behalf of a PR company? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Torresurib (talk • contribs) 10:39, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- Torresurib, you had better have some serious proof if you're going to make an accusation like that. If you don't, I strongly suggest you retract your statement. Also, the onus is on you to have the material restored. It's already covered in the main article. Ishdarian 10:53, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- Perhaps if you confined your activities on this article to writing about Lord Derby, rather than a housing development that is better covered elsewhere, you'd be less frustrated. Parrot of Doom 13:52, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
12 march edits and reversion
[edit]Given statements like "during which he has engaged in legal and High Court action against local residents", large blocks of completely uncited text critical of the article's subject, and peacock phrases like "deeply", I have reverted the most recent changes by User:Madimara.
