Issue?
[edit]Am not aware of peacock or what the issue is. All is well documented and established and has been live 6 months plus. Whats issue specifically ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Babasalichai (talk • contribs) 21:55, April 7, 2010
- It's fairly simple.
- The article links to just one other Wikipedia article (and there isn't a single inbound link from another Wikipedia article).
- peacock words include "substantial", "extensively featured " and "glitzy". These qualitative terms should be replaced by quantitative descriptors or attributed to third party observers.
- Citation style, which has all inline citations at the end of each paragraph is unhelpful because they don't show which fact can be verified by which source.
- Overall, this reads more like a resume or a "Who's Who" profile, and needs to be cleaned up to meet Wikipedia standards. Please keep the tag there until all above issues are resolved. Thank you. --Mosmof (talk) 03:07, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
Believe all the edits have been made. Should you have any further comments would be great if you make them here before changing article. All edits have been made. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 65.112.21.194 (talk) 11:28, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- I've made some minor copyedits and the article is improved, but it still suffers from unqualified peacock terms and there isn't a single inbound link. Also, I would consider revising the "featured in (list of publications)". It's not that helpful to say someone has been in a lot of magazines and newspapers, but it is helpful to talk about what those articles say about him. As a rule of thumb, it helps to replace adjective with concrete facts and numbers. --Mosmof (talk) 13:33, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
This now has been cleaned up entirerly per your comments and should be ok. Should you insist on making more edits rather than placing claims to dispute the page, please comment here first and allow me a chance to clean it up. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.173.122.113 (talk) 10:58, 9 April 2010 (UTC)
Nothing more than a promotional vehicle for 5wpr
[edit]It's pretty bad when I feel I have to protect the client from the the self-absorbed flaks who have no excuse for not knowing and following basic Wikipedia policies, much less not understanding that just being quoted in the media really isn't enough to satisfy WP:N. As it is now, this "article" is little more than a promotional tool to show off all the press mentions. Flowanda | Talk 08:08, 14 April 2010 (UTC)
