[edit]He appears to have also been purser of South Crofty mine. and president of the Penzance Natural History and Antiquarian Society for a time. Also need to check if his mother was the daughter of the Charles Rashleigh (pretty sure she was - Duporth and the dates seem right, and I know he had daughters).
