Immediate fail

[edit]

I'm going to quick fail this nomination because "It is a long way from meeting any one of the six good article criteria" as per WP:GAFAIL. I'll make some notes below. Mujinga (talk) 18:02, 7 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

At the moment the article is not broad enough in coverage to address the topic (heavily failing number 3 of the criteria). To illustrate what I mean there is even information about Garrick at Boston Massacre which is not covered here. This article could in time grow in size and quality to become a good article, but right now it is clearly a start class article and very far from a good article on the framework, which is explained at Wikipedia:Content_assessment.

Ma nam is geoffrey, since you are the nominator, I would advise you to read the Wikipedia:Good_article_criteria closely and to have a good look at all the information available about good articles. I see you are quite a new user and I would advise you to spend some time learning the ropes and creating more articles before taking the further step of nominating articles for good articles (for me this learning process took years). This also applies to making good article reviews because Talk:Erinna/GA1 is not a sufficiently detailed review. Please feel free to drop me a line on my talkpage if you have any further questions.
