This article was the subject of an educational assignment in Fall 2014. Further details were available on the "Education Program:Northeastern University/Online communities (2014 Q3)" page, which is now unavailable on the wiki.
Overall, I thought this was a great page. I was unable to find any typos or grammatical issues and the content flowed nicely. Furthermore, it's clear you put a lot of effort into research and linking back to the Wikipedia community at large. For future revisions, it might be helpful to include some photos of Edward Lyons, if there are any available (either online or through the archive). Another addition that would be beneficial would be more details regarding his early life and career beyond the military. In terms of changes, I only made one small adjustment to the wording of Background. I changed it to "Early life" to be more consistent with how most Wikipedia pages about people are worded. Really good job on this! The paragraphs were nicely formed and the overall structure of the article was great. The only thing that I did here was linking some locations such as France, Britain etc.. to their Wikipedia pages. Also, it would be great if you can find a picture of Edward F. Lyons, Jr. or pictures of the Borkum Islan war crimes that Tyler used. As I mentioned with Tyler's page, the citations made it a bit hard for me to edit. USing the sfn template really makes your life easier! Keep up the great work! --Sarahnals (talk) 16:29, 24 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
