Changed year of death

[edit]

Double-dating was in effect for England so I changed the year of death from 1585 to 1584/85.

The New Year was not recognized as beginning January 1st until 1752. Prior to that, the New Year began on March 25.

Inconsistencies and errors

[edit]

This article states that Ursula Stourton bore Clinton two daughters in 1553 and 1554. Immediately below that, it states that Clinton married Elizabeht Fitzgerald on 1 October 1552. Unless Clinton was a bigamist, Ursula cannot have been married to Clinton after 1 October 1552. She must have died prior to that date, and Anne and Elizabeth Clinton must have been Elizabeth Fitzgerald Clinton's daughters? Or did Anne and Elizabeth simply not exist? Someone needs to straighten this out.
