I think this Edward Berwick is the Mr. Berwick who lived with Dionysius Lardner and was his pupil whilst he was waiting to get into Trinity College Dublin. He is mentioned in the Lardner divorce papers in the House of Lords and there is a letter to Lardner from Walter Berwick in the Wellcome Institute which mentions him.
