[edit]De origine slovena? Ma chi xe sto mona che gha scritto sta roba? Noi semo Italiani! Mona! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.15.252.252 (talk) 23:55, 17 January 2009 (UTC)
- Yes he is, do you want a source? Here is it: La Gazzetta dello Sport. --Angelo (talk) 15:10, 18 January 2009 (UTC)
It isn't slovenian, you don't know nothingh about him. He is italian and friulan. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.59.3.235 (talk) 12:47, 26 March 2010 (UTC)
- Well, technically speaking he IS A SLOVENE. He is a part of the Slovenian nation but sadly the greedy Italian country invaded Slovenian borders during WW2 and later on the borders were changed but in the end a big part of Slovenian ethnical area fell under the reign of Italy (Trst/Trieste, Benečija/Veneto, Furlanija/Friuli). That means that he is as much Slovene as Italian and I believe it would be apropriate to say that he is Italian-Slovenian or rather Slovenian-Italian, any way you take it. Cheers to whereever 92.37.7.163 (talk) 20:55, 19 June 2010 (UTC)
Don't say stupid things man. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 151.68.5.240 (talk) 12:41, 23 December 2010 (UTC)
- Trust me when I say he is a Slovene. He is a member of the Slovene minority in Italy. I have heard him say in an iterview that his mother tounge is Slovene and even hic close friend Fabio Capello once stated that when he visited Reja in his home place he spoke Slovene only, with members of his family.Ratipok (talk) 15:36, 24 January 2011 (UTC)
- Why are you so eager to claim an Italian-born coach who speaks Italian and coaches in Italy as Slovenian? He's not even a great coach. I could understand if it was Fabio Capello, but Edy Reja? If any Furlan with a "J" in his name is Slovenian then I guess I'm Slovenian too. Wannabe rockstar (talk) 14:51, 19 January 2014 (UTC)
