Questions

This short article has a few points that are unclear. It states that the Edo clan moved to Kitami, and is linked to Kitami, a town in Hokkaido. Did the clan really move to Hokkaido? Whether it did, or if there is another Kitami closer to Tokyo, it needs to be specified. Also, what happened to the rest of the clan members after Kitami Shigenaga died?? The original wording said "vanished", but that's simplistic dramatic hyperbole. Did they become commoners or ronin or did they all commit seppuku or what?
