- I don't know but the monument is for the father not for our MP so it may have nothing useful. But what I am able to tell you about Edmund the younger is:
- Date of birth: 10 October 1618
- Date of baptism: 29 October 1618 Houghton Conquest Bedfordshire
- Date of death: 1695 at Glazeley Shropshire aged 77 d.s.p.
- His grandmother Wylde was born Elizabeth Cooke and she brought Glazeley property with her which became the preferred residence - maybe whatever in Kempsey then leased out.
- My comments (for what they're worth) first two probably from Houghton Conquest baptisms. First child usually taken back to priest who married the parents and HC was his mother's home parish. Death year and age and location probably from Musgrave's obits but I can show you his PCC will in the PCC index and show independent record office records which show why it must be his when you confirm that kind of thing is acceptable.
- Assuming I can find HC baptisms online and quote a page or something from Musgrave I should think these facts are admissible. Am I right/wrong? If right will track down.
- The online indexes of record repositories provide a heap of supporting evidence and info which I can paste on here but will I be told that's OR? Will wait for your opinion.
- Here's a (v cruelly pruned) little tree. Would it be welcome? Perhaps on The Commandery page:

Gossip
[edit]"John Wylde, who was a Chief Baron of the Exchequer, presented to the Rectory of Glazeley in 1637. Edmund Wylde of the Inner Temple is said to have been a man of pleasure, one of the professed admirers of Venetia Digby. He was not living at Glazeley in 1663 when George Cole of Glazeley Hall entered his pedigree at the Heralds Visitation. The only entry in the register relating to the Cole family records the burial of Richard , son of George Cole, gent. Later on however Wylde may have lived at Glazeley, where he was buried in 1695, aged 77. He was the last male of this branch, and his estates at Glazeley and Eudon Burnell passed to his kinsmen the Wyldes of the Commandery, Worcester, descended from Thomas Wylde (d. 1558) by his first wife Alice, daughter of Robert Ludington." from here
Wikiblame shows he was recorded here quite correctly in April 2010. Regards, Eddaido (talk) 17:27, 24 November 2011 (UTC)
