I have been studying the information Wikipedia has to offer on this topic. I would like to note that the photograph of Edmund Newell indicates he was perfectly proportional in every way. The photographic evidence for other proportional dwarves seems to indicate that although their bodies were proportional, their heads seem to be larger.
