[edit]removed the phrase less admiraly when describing Congresswoman Nourse-Rogers' support of the House Committee on un-American activities. This is not neutral. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.62.122.124 (talk • contribs)
Tone of article
[edit]Maybe it's just me, but this article doesn't seem to be very wiki. That is, sections of it (the WAAC and post-WWII sections in particular) read more like a college essay about Rep. Rogers' peripheral involvement in giving women equality in the U.S. military. And the bit about "wanting to kick the UN out of its headquarters in NYC" (I'm paraphrasing, of course) isn't that formal of a statement.
Furthermore, I almost added a {{unreferenced}} tag, as there are no footnotes (or similar citations) throughout the article … yet there is a "References" section of books and so on. So perhaps a {{unreferenced}} tag isn't appropriate. Still, it does seem like it's lacking something. Thoughts? —Micahbrwn (talk) 18:23, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
- Okay, I think I found the right tag to use … {{Nofootnotes|article}} seems to be appropriate, yeah? Okay, then! —Micahbrwn (talk) 06:13, 1 May 2008 (UTC)
