Contested deletion

Edith Andreae is an important personality in contemporary history - it is an important link, without which many relationships can not be detected. Please help improve this article but don't delete it. --Groth-Pfeifer (talk) 19:58, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

It means, that Edith Rathenau continued the work of her brother. She realized his last wishes in his will and published his books. Perhaps she was something like Elisabeth Förster-Nietzsche ...?! --Groth-Pfeifer (talk) 20:32, 16 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Then feel free to tag the article as in need of assistance from a translator. One click - to the German wikipedia version - will tell you that she was the literary executor of her brother, Walther Rathenau, continuator/editor of his works, and ran the Rathenau Institute. That's a plausible claim of importance and obvious grounds for me to reject a speedy deletion request, and I would have rejected a PROD as well. There are 400-odd hits for her name on Google Books from which it looks as though there would be ample material to expand the article. I'd be surprised indeed if this were deleted at AfD.
