Proposed deletion
[edit]The Edenton Bell Battery article has been proposed to be deleted. I find this offensive and I will explain why later. For one it is said the aeticle is not notable enough to be on Wikipedia which is a insult. The reason the Edenton Bell Battery exsisted was because of the devotion of the people of Edenton, North Carolina. They dedicated all the bronze bells in Edenton at the time to help fight for the Confederate cause and what they believed in. It is also says its a orphan article but ALOT of aticles are linked to it. Now the Edenton Bell Battery article does have one problem, I cant find any proper references but I gave a link to a website that proves the Battery exsisted. I think that wikipedias editors are biased against something that is Confederate because they probably thing the Confederates were "racist". If you believe that read up on your history. Thats all I have to say. --Daniel Creasy (talk) 22:42, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
- After discussion the nomination was withdrawn, partially (in my own humble opinion and at my request) to show good faith that User:Daniel Creasy intends to take being a wikipedian a bit more seriously in the future and partially because reliable sources have been found which make article retention a better choice. I'll help with this page, and I encourage Daniel to take an active part. BusterD (talk) 13:15, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
