Back in December 2005 an anon IP added a section on history to the Eden, North Carolina article. It has stayed until now, when a user split the page into two pages. I noticed this on speedy, and it was clearly a copyright violation of contetn taken from the History of Leaksville website.

Who are all these famous people who have red links? I suppose we should delete them. Any thoughts? Paul, in Saudi (talk) 08:58, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

In general, these "Notable residents" sections shouldn't be lists. Rather they should be prose describing the resident's life in the town/city, and supported by sources, of course. I would have no problem eliminating these, especially since no references for any are given. Cheers, AstroCog (talk) 15:13, 25 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]
