As "Jarrin' Jack Jackson"
[edit]No article on Mr. Mayehoff would be complete without mention of his role as former athlete Jarrin' Jack Jackson in the Dean Martin-Jerry Lewis film That's My Boy (d. Hal Walker, 1951). He was so good that some critics opined that he virtually stole the film from M&L.
He also starred in the CBS 1954-55 television series derived from the film, with Gil Stratton in the Lewis role.76.199.4.187 (talk) 00:33, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
Tony Award?
[edit]I have commented out the text "In 1957, Mayehoff was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play for his role in the Gore Vidal play Visit to a Small Planet." The citation for it was his obituary in the Los Angeles Times, but I found no mention of either the play or a Tony Award in that article. Eddie Blick (talk) 03:16, 22 December 2019 (UTC)
