Backing vocal on Airbag: timing off

Checked it out of curiousity. I think it's actually 1:37 to 1:52 and not the stated times... nice singing btw, Ed!

Man U?

I've just reverted the page. Unless source is cited, the article should not state that Ed O'Brien is shareholder of Manchester United or a Manimal, whatever that is. -Caluã

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Ed_O%27Brien_singing_Radiohead_at_Blackpool.jpg Can someone verify that this is an image of O'Brien? Jkelly 19:30, 14 May 2006 (UTC)

Looks just like him. And if it is definitely from a Radiohead gig then it definitely is Ed. It isn't any of the other members, for certain. Sven945 21:17, 1 July 2006 (UTC)

Free use image

It seems that the extremely strict WP:FAIR policy is working in overdrive at the minute. In preparation for the image of Ed inevitably being deleted, I've replaced it with a free use alternative. The fact that there is a free alternative available is enough justification for the removal of of the Fair Use image. The only trouble is that the free image is poor quality. If anyone can find a better one, that would be great. I'll keep looking! - Alex valavanis 14:02, 12 June 2007 (UTC)

I have replaced the blurry Blackpool free-use image with a better one by Laura Sylvester, with her permission. Arveigh 18:09, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

Looks fantastic - even better than the old fair use one! Do you know the photographer? Is she likely to release any other images of the band? The rest of the album looks great too. The only possible issue is that cc-3.0 licenses haven't been agreed as free enough for use on Wikipedia yet. I don't know enough about the differences to know if this is a problem. Papa November 1 18:15, 20 June 2007 (UTC)
Yeah, I know her -- her contact info is on the image page if you want to ask her yourself; I didn't ask about other images. The cc-3.0 thing is odd, since they (Creative Commons) aren't distributing the 2.5 licenses anymore, and suggest that people with the 2.5 licenses upgrade to 3.0 -- but it's a free use license, and the photographer agreed to the 2.5 license in the first place, so hopefully it's not an issue. Had the same problem with the Colin Greenwood image (different photographer). :) Arveigh 19:20, 20 June 2007 (UTC)

This is resolved: the image now has a 2.5 license, with the photographer's permission. Arveigh 20:35, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

Please show some proof...

Ed O'Brien is not a lead guitarist, so why is there a whole list of songs he played guitar solos on? Jonny Greenwood is the LEAD guitarist of Radiohead, not Ed, and anyone who is a guitar fanatic, like me, will know Jonny's style is all over the solos mentioned. You can really tell who played what by paying attention to who plays what at live shows. —Preceding unsigned comment added by BuddyOfHolly (talkcontribs) 04:36, 23 November 2008 (UTC)

The whole article is desperately in need of references, not just that section! Papa November (talk) 10:25, 23 November 2008 (UTC)
So I noticed. I'm thinking that some of it was just put together by some random person. Maybe some people, including myself, can see if they can find some of the information provided. - BuddyOfHolly —Preceding undated comment was added at 15:49, 23 November 2008 (UTC).

Ethnicity

Dunno if i imagined this but i think i recall reading somewhere that Ed is Irish, the article says he was born in Oxford though can anyone clear this up? Ie is he first generation Irish or something? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Catswithguns (talkcontribs) 10:46, 5 January 2010 (UTC)
