Electricity - production by source

[edit]

I'm not so sure about the figures for Electricity production by source. Certainly for Saint Pierre production is done by fossil fuel but there are 10 wind turbines just outside the town of Miquelon that provide power to the town. I'd change it in the article but I don't know what the percentages are. kev. (talk) 10:24, 20 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Is it certain that the production is 40+ GWh and consumption is 35 GWh? Seems awfully high for a small island.--Evilbred (talk) 23:02, 24 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

World Wind Power Database[dead link] indicates ten Vergnet GEV 15/60 wind turbines for a total nameplate capacity of 600 kW, estimated annual output of 1 GWh. --Teratornis (talk) 03:37, 3 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect WikiProject?

[edit]

I know that the Saint Pierre and Miquelon work group is part of two WikiProjects (France and the Caribbean), but I don't think it belongs in the Caribbean project because the islands are off Newfoundland. Therefore, I'll switch project tags (and will move the wind-farm picture from the talk page to the article).--Miniapolis (talk) 13:34, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]
