"Temple"?

[edit]

In this article, George Sidney is quoted as saying the following: "There was a theater here in Los Angeles called the Wilshire-Ebell. It was connected with a temple...."

There is no mention of any temple in the rest of the article. It's not even clear what he means: a Jewish temple? a Masonic temple? architecture reminiscent of a temple?

Could the relevant information be added to the article? or, if he was wrong and there is no temple connection, could we delete this portion of his quotation and replace it with ellipses so as not to mislead the readers? — Lawrence King (talk) 20:47, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Good point. I found no indication that Ebell was associated with a temple, though it is located across the street from the Masonic Temple. To avoid confusion, and absent verification of a connection, I followed your suggestion and deleted this portion of the quote and replaced with ellipses.Cbl62 (talk) 21:07, 18 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
