Not sure what to do with this article...
[edit]There appear to be several Eating recovery centres in the US, but the term "Eating recovery" doesn't reveal any specific hits on google or google scholar. I've not heard the term and query query whether it's a made for WP neologism....? Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 15:00, 20 November 2014 (UTC)
- Maybe "Recovery from eating disorders" or "Treatment of eating disorders" would be a more appropriate title? FireflySixtySeven (talk) 03:27, 22 November 2014 (UTC)
- Yes I agree with that definitely - preference would be "management of eating disorders" (as "management" better for long-term illnesses), but rationale would be if we couldn't fit all info on pages already. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 21:42, 22 November 2014 (UTC)
Unsourced and unreliably sourced content removed
[edit]I have removed some references to "spirituality" sourced to a blog. I see not the least indication that blog had any editorial oversight; it is not a reliable source. Furthermore, this is an article on a medical topic; sources should comply with the stricter standards of WP:MEDRS. Also, the demon theory of disease has been out of favor with the medical community for a couple of centuries; claims of "spiritual" aspects would need exceptional sources. While I was at it I also removed a couple of completely unreferenced sections. Huon (talk) 20:45, 20 January 2015 (UTC)
- On second thought, I fail to see how whether or not mindful eating is a spiritual experience is relevant to recovery from eating disorders at all. The blog doesn't even mention recovery.
- On an unrelated note, the page had copyright problems, and I removed an entire paragraph almost entirely copy-pasted from page 9, here. Huon (talk) 22:57, 21 January 2015 (UTC)
