Cultural capital of India:
[edit]A Capital is the base for one’s Identity, niter any Classical Dance / Music/ Art- paining / Monument / ancient Indian architect are origin from Kolkata. The claim is baseless and self declared false propagation. The link given is about the culture of Kolkata and by this it can’t claim the cultural capital of India. We can consider a place as cultural capital of India where their Music, Art, Dance, language, architecture are origin from Indian culture and should be classical. Calcutta have none of these. nither the language is classical , nor they have any classical dance or Music or have any Indian Classical architecture or Painting/ Art. Every part of India have their own unique culture if they start claiming their own place as capital then there will be 10000 of cultural capitals in India. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 131.165.63.132 (talk) 09:31, 27 November 2013 (UTC)

There is unnecessary Information about Kolkata. The East Zone office is in Kolkata but the EAST Zone Cultural Centre if not about Kolkata. There are 7 Zone in India and for East part of India the zonal office is in Kolkata. It need to clean up unnecessary history about Kolkata. Kolkata is a independent article in wiki. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Tanmaya cs (talk • contribs) 13:31, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
