History items
[edit]Some of the "history" items in this article need to be placed under some other header. Stepp-Wulf 00:56, 6 October 2006 (UTC).
- I disagree with the anon's new heading. If the information is trivial, why include it? I've rearranged the article a bit... most of that information is indeed relevant to the history of East Aurora. ~MDD4696 20:04, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- Companies such as Fisher-Price and the Roycroft movement did have a lot to do with the development and the populating of the town, but nothing included in those paragraphs demonstrates or explains that; it's trivial information ripped from the town's website.70.126.56.64 22:19, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think the information about Fisher-Price and the Roycroft movement is only there to describe how it impacted the growth and development of the town (although such information, if it has been documented somewhere, would be valuable). I see value in simply informing that reader of the notable historical items from the town. I would think that anyone who came across this article would be interested to know such information... perhaps that is trivia. How would you differentiate trivia from history? ~MDD4696 00:16, 21 October 2006 (UTC)
Middle School
[edit]The heading under middle school sounds much like self promotion, and offers nothing origional to the article. I argue that it should be deleted. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 128.205.201.9 (talk) 21:41, 6 December 2006 (UTC).
- I agree to deletion or editing to remove extensive self-promotion. Stepp-Wulf 05:41, 7 December 2006 (UTC).

In addtion, Vidler's 5&10, while locally famous, is also a commercial enterprise. I'll live the link in for now.23:06, 24 December 2008 (UTC). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Stepp-Wulf (talk • contribs) 23:06, 24 December 2008 (UTC)
