Improvement versus vandalism
[edit]This article is a brand new one. It had a rough start, so it needs all the help it can get. To better improve the image of Eartha White, who I believe was a spectacular woman and deserves nothing less, I did a rough sweep in order to rectify some major problems. One of these problems was to remove most (I say "most" because I'm sure I missed a few) instances of plagarism. There is a line directly below the edit summary space that says, and I quote: Do not copy text from other websites without permission. It will be deleted. And it was. Some information may have erroneously been erased, but if it was, it can easily be put back; without copy and pasting. There is, of course, room for improvement with every article. It is nothing to take personally. It is simply a matter of accepting the fact that everything you add to Wikipedia will most probably be edited mercilessly. I reverted back because it is, quite simply, a better article. Like I said, it still needs work, but it should not go back to its rough beginnings. Maria 23:46, 8 December 2006 (UTC)
- Third opinion: copyright infringement is not allowed on Wikipedia. It will be reverted. Knowingly adding copyrighted material may be regarded as vandalism. Please stop. Grouse 10:17, 9 December 2006 (UTC)
