Sounds like an Advertisement
[edit]This reads like it was written by someone from the company trying to push the product, not like an objective article explaining any sort of significance.

I have contacted the company and from their reply I have to conclude that the "Earth shoe" company has litle or nothing to do with the original '70 earth shoes. They make similar shoes under the same name but is otherwise unrelated.Rhbjorn (talk) 19:20, 16 August 2009 (UTC)

Makes no sense
[edit]Why would the franchise owner sue their own distributor because their sales were booming? If they were unable to keep up with demand, wouldn't the obvious course have been to limit avilability? Suing the people responsible for a surge in popularity of their product seems like willful corporate suicide.
