Notability
[edit]While the initial article here could well be deleted, Earth Impact Database is actually the principal source of information for everything that ever hit our planet. It is referenced by virtually all Wikipedia crater articles, but has itself no article yet. So I will convert it into a stub. --Tikiwont 16:23, 23 February 2007 (UTC)
- Notability has now been established with a reference to a conference paper abstract at the Lunar & Planetary Institute. Ikluft (talk) 20:48, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
- I'd like to point out that the EID contains several structures whose impact origin, although very likely, has not been confirmed by the established criteria the EID claims to use (Calvin, Ilumetsa craters, Liverpool...). The Granby structure has only been confirmed in 2009 (MAPS44,8,1107). D. Rajmon —Preceding unsigned comment added by 98.201.110.213 (talk) 03:00, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
