Reason for separating this from both "McIntyre System" and "AFL Grand Final"
[edit]The reason for setting up this as a unique "stand-alone" article — entirely separate from the two other associated articles of (a) McIntyre System and (b) AFL Grand Final — is that this article contains a lot of historical details that are critical to an understanding of the drive behind the quest for better VFL (and AFL) finals systems, which would either be cut from those two articles (on the basis that the information included in this article would be considered only peripherally relevant to the accounts those articles are designed to deliver) or, if it remained, swamp the current articles to such an extent that their original purpose would be greatly undermined and completely confounded.Lindsay658 (talk) 15:05, 5 March 2008 (UTC)
Congratulations.
[edit]Congratulations Lindsay 658, this is an excellent page; a lot of detailed technical information but presented in an easy-to-read format!
Have you thought of adding a few photos to break up the large amount of text?
