Remainder
[edit]Can someone confirm the remainder as Heathcote_Baronets claims a special remainder but [1] mentions nothing.Alci12 14:14, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
- It is odd that the LG doesn't mention it, but it does seem to be correct: Cracroft's says he was created "Viscount Parker, of Ewelme in the County of Oxford, and Earl of Macclesfield, with remainder for all three peerages in default of male issue to his daughter Elizabeth, wife of William Heathcote, and to her male issue". - Thanks for that, very odd/rare indeed for the LG doesn't mention it. Looking at [2] neither doesthat but it does show it as one of those lord x, baron of x titles. Alci12 20:20, 26 January 2007 (UTC)
Relationship to Gilbert Gerard
[edit]Burke makes him grandson, not great, i.e. son of Gilbert's second son, Ratcliff. Anyone know something different? Sjwells53 (talk) 19:56, 19 June 2012 (UTC)
