Relationship of this article with Nickelodeon on Sunset
[edit]Nickelodeon on Sunset has been closed for a couple of years now, and news articles indicate that the theatre is reverting to its original name, Earl Carroll Theatre as part of a restoration process.
I also find it a bit awkward that Wikipedia has two separate, relatively short articles that discuss what is the exact same building.
I therefore propose that:
- The Nickelodeon on Sunset article be renamed "Earl Carroll Theatre (Hollywood)";
- The material from this article about the Hollywood theatre be merged into the new Hollywood article;
- This article be renamed "Earl Carroll Theatre (New York)" and focus on the Broadway theatre; and
- A new disambiguation page be created for both the Hollywood and New York theatres, plus the Broadway Theatre (53rd Street) article.

- Support Sounds like an excellent plan. Make it happen! Markhh (talk) 07:11, 21 November 2018 (UTC)
- I have moved the material on the West Coast theater to the other article. Upon reflection, I believe neither article should be moved. Vzeebjtf (talk) 08:51, 14 December 2018 (UTC)
