DJ ?

[edit]

The article (along with many media sources) incorrectly refer to him as a "DJ" but he never presented any music programming on the station. 86.146.222.51 (talk) 12:54, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Why is he included in the "Irish DJ's" category when he was nothing of the sort ? 86.129.211.1 (talk) 12:32, 28 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
He did present shows very occasionally in the 1970's prior to assuming ownership (by questionable means) of the station so technically he was a DJ although is not generally remembered as such. 81.132.143.127 (talk) 12:51, 1 November 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Trials

[edit]

The earliest dated trial I could see mentioned in the sources was the 2003 trial, though one of the sources used for the 2007 trial mentions that he had eight previous convictions (including one for arson), it doesn't mention when those trials were. Autarch (talk) 13:47, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure on dates but he had convictions in previous decades for Official IRA membership, Wireless telegraphy offences, Assault and Arson offences. shooting with intent, malicious damage, dangerous driving and contempt of court [1].

He also spent a few months in prison c2001 in relation to a car-chase with police in the Dublin mountains 86.146.222.51 (talk) 13:58, 11 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Unfortunately, comeheretome.com is a blog and fails WP:RS. Are there reliable sources that can be used instead? Autarch (talk) 21:49, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It's a blog but extensively cites its sources and links to several newspaper articles. 86.146.222.51 (talk) 17:59, 16 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
It still fails WP:RS, specifically WP:USERGENERATED. Use the newspaper articles instead if they pass WP:RS. Autarch (talk) 19:45, 18 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
