Did you know... that the Eadwine Psalter of c. 1155–60 has a famous portrait of Eadwine, "prince of scribes" (pictured), and illustrations to the psalms copied from a book then over 300 years old?

the oldest surviving text of the psalms in French

The Oxford Psalter, 1140-50 according to the Bodleian Library website, is generally considered to be older. But the date estimates for the two do overlap a bit. Have tried and failed to find a good source saying which is older. Renard Migrant (talk) 11:43, 15 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
