Feeding System
[edit]I made the change to the feeding system as I have a copyrighted right side photo of the EX-41 and it does not use a clip. Given that it does not use a clip it must use a magazine and the most logical and practical place to put the magazine is inside the tube running under the barrel.
- I assume you're referring to Nick Steadman's photo on p. 49 of the Summer 1995 issue of Fighting Firearms.
- First, I think you might be confusing a clip with a detachable box magazine. A clip is usually not visible from the exterior. Some detachable box magazines are not visible either. For example, the magazine on the FN Special Police Rifle sits flush to the receiver, so a casual observer may think it has an integral box magazine. So it is not obvious from a small black-and-picture that a weapon uses a clip or not. It probably does have a tubular magazine underneath the barrel, but that does not exclude using four-round clips to feed the magazine rapidly, like a speedloader for a shotgun.
- Second, Wikipedia guidelines are to use reliable sources and not original research. Jane's, while it does have errors on occasion, is a reliable source. Looking at a picture and guessing by an absence of features is original research.
