Rephrasing first sentence
[edit]I suggest:
- In statistical hypothesis testing, e-values quantify the evidence in the data against a null hypothesis (e.g., "the coin is fair", or, in a medical context, "this new treatment has no effect").
(basically just changing "measure" to "quantify". @Safestatistics any thoughts? DMH43 (talk) 21:46, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
