[edit]A student of Althusser, Gorin worked with Godard as confident and advisor (Politkommissar?) on La Chinoise (1967) and La Gai Savoir (1966), , pre-D.V. nd Tout Va Bien and Letter to Jane were already outside this D.V. designation. Jean-Pierre Gorin went to San Diego in 1975.
- His american films are very different from DV. Jean-Luc Godard, in a talk to students at Yale at the hight of 60s rebellion actually calls himself a Marxist- Leninist. The MiM, an american maoist group has an essay on Godard·s chinese films on its site. --Radh (talk) 07:06, 23 October 2008 (UTC)
